Discipline
Procedures:
Your
child is expected to be respectful and honorable at all times. They
are to follow all aspects of the Student Handbook while in my classroom.
A copy is available at the main office, just ask Mrs. Brady.
If your child does misbehave they will receive a verbal warning. If the behavior does continue then your child will receive a Card. This is meant to give the child a visual warning. When the behavior continues your child will receive a Card. They will miss second recess, and they will not be allowed to participate in that week's Fun Friday. If your child fails to return a Card the parents will be notified via a phone call.
Birthdays:
We do
celebrate birthdays. We ask that if you do decide to provide treats
for you child's class please follow these standards: 1. Store Bought
Cookies Only 2. Provide enough for 43 students 3. Notify teacher's
two days in advance 4. No drinks.
If your child has a summer birthday pick a day in the month of May to celebrate their birthday at school.
Weekend and Holiday birthdays will be celebrated on the Friday before their birthday.

Visits:
I welcome
parents to visit my classroom. I do ask that you give me two days
notice before you plan to visit, so that you do not disturb the learning
environment of the classroom.

free to contact me regarding any concerns that you have for your child.
I do ask that you limit your calls to the following times: 7:00-8:15am,
1:45-2:20pm, and from 3:20-4:00pm. You can also email me at any time.

Conferences
are scheduled for the Fall and Spring semesters. I am also willing
to meet at any time if you have concerns for your child. Please call
to set an appointment.
Volunteers:
Occasionally
our classroom does need some extra help. If you are able to volunteer
once a week or just every once in a while please let me know.
