Tic-tac-Toe:
Your child has homework every week, with the exception of short weeks.  It is sent home on Mondays.  The homework is in a tic-tac-toe format.  Please help your child choose three of the assignments.  I do ask that you choose them in horizontal, vertical, or diagonal order.  Please help your child complete the assignments.

Spelling:
If your child is considered an "Older" they will have spelling homework on Monday and Thurday nights, with the exception of short weeks.  Practice and copy your child's spelling words.  They need to study them every night.  I ask that you sign and return their folders when they are sent home.  Your child will not participate in second recess if their folder is not signed and returned the very next day.

Book Bag Books:
Every two weeks your child will recieve a "Book Bag" book.  I ask that you do two things with the "Book Bag" book.   The first is that you read the book with your child.  The second is that you have your child complete one of the twenty projects listed in the bag.  Your child will give a presentation over their project when it is returned in two weeks.

The "Book Bag" books are a personal collection.  If your child looses one of the books, the parents will be responsible for replacing the lost book.  If a lost book is not replaced your child will not be allowed to participate in the program.
